Hi and Welcome to Fillsites Australia,
All listings are free to view for all without the need to join up or login. However, if you wish to place a listing then you will need to join up and login. It is free to join this website and make listings.

How to Join and start listing your site(s)

This is a quick guide for those who wish to test out the www.fillsites.com.au/ web page by adding some listings for dump site or upcoming pool digs etc.

1. Click on the (join now) text at the top right hand corner of the screen. It is free and no information will be released etc.

2. Fill in all relevant info and click (join) when finished. You will be sent an email with this info however it is a good idea to record your username and password for future reference.

3. All done. Now click the (close) text at top right hand corner.

4. Now you are ready to log-in and add listings.

5. Click on the (login) text at the top right hand corner of the screen. You are presented with the Fillsites Australia Control Panel.

6. Enter your username and password the click the (login) button.

7. You are presented with a welcome page which shows your current details. You can update these details if you wish or add extra info at this time.

8. On the left hand side of the screen are three options. (My Details) - you are here now, (My Listings: Soil / Material I have) and (My Listings: Soil / Material I want) Depending if you want to list a site that WANTS fill or HAS fill, click the relevant (My Listings) text.

i.e. If you have a pool dig coming up and want to find a fill site close by, then click (My Listings: Soil / Material I have) - Please proceed to Item (9) below

i.e. If you want some fill then click the (My Listings: Soil / Material I want) - Please proceed to Item (16) below

If fill is available:

9. (My Listings: Soil / Material I have) example: After clicking the link, you are presented with a list of all your listings for sites that have fill. Of course when you first view the list there are no entries. On the top right hand corner, you will see (New). Click this to add a new (or your first) listing. You can have as many listings as you wish.

10. You are now presented with a form to fill in for the details of the site that has (or will have) fill. You are asked for name, phone number and email for this listing. This is required and in most cases will be the same as your details you entered when you logged in. However, you may be placing a listing on behalf of someone else. These details are the details that someone would contact if they are interested in the fill available etc.

11. Next we can enter the actual location of the site that has the fill or material. This address is the address that Google Maps will use to plot the pin on the map etc. Now fill in the address, City postcode and State.

12. Next fill in the type of fill (most of the time it will be General Fill), amount of fill approximately available, cost (if not free) and if a charge is applicable, please specify if this is for the lot or per cubic metre.

12. The next section is the dates. These are the dates when the listing is visible on the map. So when specifying the dates, it is a good idea to use today's date as the (From) date and the (Until) date should be as far away as possible. This is important as the system will hide the listing when the (From) date passes. If you have a set date for a pool excavation, then you could use this date. I recommend using a date past this date as sometime with weather etc., the excavation date may be put back anyway. You can also log back into this listing anytime to change this date, or even de-activate this listing when a fill site is found for this fill etc.

13. Please specify the collection info: This is if delivery is available etc. Specify if the soil has Fire Ants or if you're not sure. See the (Links) section on the main page of this web site for information on how to check this.

14. Extra information can be added at the bottom in which you can additional contact info, instructions for access etc. The last item is whether or not the listing is active or not.

15. Click the (Submit) button.

Please proceed to Item (24) below.
